Making experience come to life – Our Process

Our employee hiring process is one that stands above the rest. Recruiting, testing and training are the most vital aspects of our business.

As an experienced staffing provider, Excel Personnel understands the critical need for comprehensive testing and screening procedures to verify the exact skill level and experience of the potential candidate to be placed.

All candidates for employment go through a rigorous procedure of behavioral interviewing and skill testing prior to being considered for any assignment. The interviewing process focuses on the candidate’s ability to accept and adapt to the potential work environment. The testing procedure concentrates on matching a candidate with the appropriate job profile and skill level, allowing Excel Personnel to ensure the quality of each employee.

I just received the birthday card you sent me in the mail, and I wanted to thank you and say that I have never seen as thoughtful a gesture as this from an employer in my 10 years with different companies. Thank you so much and I really appreciate the fact that I am working for Excel.
J.Z., Excel employee
Everyone at Excel is awesome! Not only did they help me to hone in my skills through the tutorials and testing that I took, but lined me up with an awesome job. They are very professional, very pleasant to work with and very attentive. I feel like I am their only employee. I appreciate the finesse that goes into each interaction with any of them. Kudos!

FAQ

No. Applicants are never charged a fee at Excel Personnel.
When we receive a job order request from a client company, we check our list of applicants to match the skills with requirements. If your skills match the client company’s need, we will call you. If you accept the assignment, we will provide you with all the necessary information about the job. When the assignment has ended, you contact your office to be placed back on the available list.
No. Flexibility is one of the advantages of being our associate. However, when you accept an assignment, it is a requirement that you be on time and complete the assignment.
Excel assignments vary from hours to weeks or even months. In some cases, an assignment leads to a full time placement. When we make an assignment, we will provide you with the approximate length of time it will last. If you decide to accept an assignment, please ensure you are available for the full length of the assignment.
This depends on your availability and willingness to work, the quality of your work and the marketability of your skills. We make every attempt to keep our employees as busy as they wish to be. However, Excel does not guarantee any certain number of hours.
Your pay is based on the number of hours you work for us on an assignment, and your hours must be recorded on your time sheet. We pay on a weekly basis, and your work week ends on Sunday. At the completion of your week, or at the completion of your assignment, if less than a week, fax your completed and signed time sheet to our corporate office at 303-805-2400. Your time must be in by noon on Monday. You will be paid through direct deposit unless other arrangements have been made (in certain circumstances you may pick up your check or have it mailed to you).

For answers to any other questions you might have, please contact your Account Manager or Recruiter at your branch office.
